Boat & jet ski rentals
Several service providers offer boat and jet ski rentals just a stone's throw from the Résidences Saletta. You'll also find pedalos, as well as numerous water activities such as buoys, flyfish, wakeboarding and water skiing.
Diving school
Our region offers you the chance to explore extraordinary underwater reserves. From first dives to visits to shipwrecks, our diving clubs offer a wide range of possibilities for you and your family.
Sailing school
The Ile-Rousse sailing club offers a wide range of activities, including rentals (paddle, windsurf, windfoil, catamaran, kayak, etc.), introductory courses and guided tours.
Land-based activities
Hiking, trail exploration, biking and more. There are plenty of family activities to suit everyone.
Quad & Segway rental
Discover the city from the wheel of a segway, for an out-of-the-ordinary ride. Or explore the surrounding area on a quad bike or SSV for an unforgettable experience.
Motorcycle & scooter rental
Available for rental at Loc'Scoots are Sym Fiddle 125s (requiring a "B" license) and Sym Mio 50s (no license required) for periods ranging from half a day to a month, at very affordable rates.
Trails from L'Île-Rousse
Escapades and hikes around L'Île-Rousse, "Nantu à i chjassi di a nostra memoria" (On the paths of our memory). Whether you're a beginner or a professional hiker, there are several trails to take you through the villages of our region and reveal all their secrets. With loops ranging from 2.5 km to 12 km, there's something for everyone. Hiking packs are on sale at the Île-Rousse Tourist Office.

Saleccia Park
On the seafront at the gateway to Île-Rousse, come and visit an exceptional 7-hectare site of Corsican and Mediterranean vegetation, designed by a landscape gardener. The botanical trail features "The Art of Gardens in the Heart of the Corsican Maquis", exceptional plant collections and 30 explanatory panels on maquis plants and the history of the park. The park has a picnic area, a small restaurant and discovery trails for children.
The Botanical Fruit Garden
A botanical collection and experimental fruit garden, unique in France for its diversity and entirely natural growing methods, with no chemical fertilizers or pesticides. A must-see!
The Craftsmen's Route
La Route des Artisans de Balagne. This itinerary along the roads of Balagne allows you to meet these men and women in their workshops, who have chosen to express with their hands what is in their minds. Brochure to download from the Île-Rousse Tourist Office website.
La Route des Sens
The "Route des Sens Authentiques" is all about celebrating difference, uniqueness, anchoring the past and making the most of natural and cultural resources. Here, know-how is honored and resolutely turned towards the future. Men and women in love with their land have combined the art of practicing an ancestral craft with a modern lifestyle. A Strada Musicale
The mobile application "A Strada Musicale" (the musical road) is a real immersion in the heart of an oral and sonorous heritage, the foundation of the island's culture. Conceived as an itinerant audio tour, it accompanies you with music to the very places that bear witness to this sound activity: canti sacri (sacred songs) in churches, tribbiere (wheat threshing) on the aghje (wheat threshing floors). The project is based on 90 referenced sites throughout the Balagne region, identified by specific signage, each with its own soundtrack and explanation.
